Financial Management Service Monthly Reports

Each month, your Financial Management Service will send you a spending report.
Check it carefully and track your spending.If you overspend, your budget won’t go up unless there’s a change in circumstance.


SDP gives you freedom and responsibility — it is important that you make sure your helpers and providers are paid on time. This means staying on top of approving invoices and payroll.
You will also want to move money early if you see a service code running low.

Annual Renewal

Each year, you’ll meet to set your new budget and update your spending plan.
It’s also a good time to review your person-centered plan and adjust your goals if needed.

Start early!

Send your updated plan to the regional center three months before your renewal date and ask for a budget meeting. Most Financial Management Services want the authorizations for the next year in place by the 15th of the month prior.
