Service Code Definition: #

A regional center shall classify a vendor as a Transition/Set Up Expenses provider if the vendor provides one-time set-up expenses to assist individuals who are moving from an institution to their own home. These expenses fund some of the initial set-up costs that are associated with obtaining and securing an adequate living environment and address the individual’s health and safety needs when he or she enters a new living environment.
