Service Code Definition: #
A regional center shall classify a vendor as a Educational Services provider if the vendor provides, or obtains, educational related services and supports, not available through the educational system and/or school district, as identified in the consumer’s IPP. Educational Services include, but are not limited to: driver training lessons, educational consultant services, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and/or first-aid training, room and board while attending California State colleges or universities and, when not the responsibility of Community Care Licensing, on-going training for foster and biological families of children who have moved into a foster family arrangement.
